Brentford have signed defender Sepp van den Berg from Liverpool in a deal worth up to £25m.
The 22-year-old Dutchman joins the Bees on a five-year contract after turning down interest from a number of other clubs, including German champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Brentford will pay an initial £20m fee, with an additional £5m in add-ons, while Liverpool have a 17.5% sell-on clause.

Liverpool might still be waiting for the club's first summer signing under new sporting director Richard Hughes but he has certainly added to the coffers at Anfield.
Squad players Fabio Carvalho, Sepp van den Berg and Bobby Clark have been sold for a combined total of around £52.5m and a possible £10m in add-ons. There are also 17.5% sell-on clauses in each deal.
Forward Carvalho and defender Van den Berg did well in pre-season having been on loan last campaign and, after initial offers for both were rejected, have moved to Brentford.
The Reds rejected a £15m offer from Southampton for Carvalho before the 21-year-old was sold to the Bees for an initial £22.5m and a possible £5m in add-ons.
Van den Berg, 22, was the subject of a bid worth around £8.4m from PSV Eindhoven earlier in the summer and he has now completed a move to Brentford for £20m and a possible £5m in add-ons.
Midfielder Clark, 19, has made the switch to RB Salzburg in a deal worth up to £10m.
In each of those deals, Hughes is believed to have delivered Liverpool's valuations of the players involved.
We will now wait and see if any of that money is spent on incomings this summer, with the transfer window closing at 23:00 BST on Friday, 30 August.
